hydraulic pump help needed
I don’t have much hope for an answer but you never can tell what someone here might know. So here goes.
I have a Kioti LK3504 and need help fixing the hydraulic pump, actually putting it back together. The O ring on the pump failed. I have a replacement O ring BUT when took the pump apart to get to the O ring I also removed what I call a yoke. This is a figure 8 shape piece which goes over the two splined shafts in the pump. The yoke has an asymmetric gasket on one side and two sets of asymmetric grooves on the other. Now the problem, the yoke will fit on the shafts either of four ways. With the gasket forward toward the splines with the gasket forming a W or with it forming a M. Or it can go on with the grooves facing the splines with either set of grooves facing up.
Anyone got any ideas on how it might go? I can post pics if you think it might help. This is one of the times I wish I had a video camera installed in my forehead.
I need to get the tractor up and running and putting the thing together one way and if that doesn’t work trying it the other is not really an option, too much time and work.
