John Deere 60 ???

We have a JD60, The handle on his PTO sometimes stay up and sometimes slips down..We have a manual for the tractor,but due to renovation , cant find the blessed thing. Does anyone own a manual for a 60 or know how to make the adjustments. Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks in advance..

Until you locate the manual get a bungee cord. It is not uncommon for an older tractor to have the lever on the pto to lose the tension on the toggle linkage and for the pto to disengage on its own. The bungee cord will hold the handle where it needs to be.

I have a 720 but it has a foot pedal so I guess my manual wont do you any good
