cpvc plumbing
I'm replacing my water supply plumbing today with cpvc and last night when I was looking at the fittings I noticed that they said "cold water only".
I thought cpvc was good for both hot and cold?
Can anyone tell me more about cpvc?
Also, I just read that you are supposed to let the lines sit for 24 hours after gluing before pressurizing. I've always heard that pvc was good to go within minutes and assumed cpvc was the same.
Is the 24 hour wait necessary?
