Suzuki Samurai Driveshaft?

It's a long shot, but does anyone on here know where I can find a Samurai rear driveshaft for a 1994? I can find them all day long for the '88's, but none that will fit the '94.

Also, if there is a different type of driveshaft that will fit it, we could use that too. If the ends match, the driveshaft that we are looking for measures 17 inches from u joint to u joint, and overall length is 20 inches (compressed).

Any help would be appreciated!

I have had driveshafts custom made. Guy that does it around here is pretty cheap, about 20 bucks if you have the shaft. Are you missing a shaft or is it broken? As long as you have the yokes it shouldn't be too hard for a talented welder to make you one. Otherwise you could try http://www.car-part.com. I did a nationwide search and I did find rear driveshafts for a 94 Suzuki Samurai. There aren't many (must not have sold too many Samurais in the 90s) but they are out there. The cost was between 50-150 bucks. Shipping a small driveshaft like that wouldn't be too much. Hope this helps

You might send them an email and see what they have.

Try on Zuwarrie.com the wanted section. I have small flange shafts kicking around but it won't help alot. But come to think of it you may be able to get a small flange one (that really the only difference with the 88 and 94) and then redrill the flanges on the tcase and rear end. or http://www.rock4xfabrication.com/ratadapter.htm fo rthe adpater and you can go with a toyota driveshaft. call the guy at rockrat for application. he should be able to help.

We tried zuwharrie first before coming over here. Someone from there is sending us a few things and we're going to redrill the current flange, since we can find plenty of '88 driveshafts.

Thanks,
Emily
