Belarus hydraulics

Anyone rebuild a hydraulic spool on a belarus tractor? I have a leak that is effecting my implements. My baler opens, or my mower lifts etc. I believe it is just oring inside. But I want to know if I have to take it off the tractor. If I can open it up while on the tractor it saves a whole lot of disassemly.
On a another hydraulic topic, what would make the hydraulics heat up. I am hoping it is just a plugged filter.

Heat can come from a lever in the wrong position and the hydraulic oil having to dump by going through a relief valve.

A broken spring on a check valve can create this leakdown problem also. Most spool valves do not have an O ring. Instead they depend on the precision fit of the spool to the bore. There is a valve made that can stop a cylinder from leaking down. It is used as an add on device on machines that have high wear on the hydraulic system. This is the type valve that will prevent leak down http://www.surpluscenter.com/item.as...-1343&catname=

It would be the same thing. What is happening is the hydraulics are passing through a small opening and heating up. If you fix one it will fix the rest.
