POed At Repair Shop

Took my Pickup to the Repair Shop told them I thought the Steering Box was messed up.They looked at it and agreed.

They put a New Steering Box on and found that wasn't the problem,that it was the Fork that comes off the Steering Column was worn.And they couldn't get a New one,but could have it fixed.

Anyway they told me they had fixed the Main Problem with my Pickup and charged me.Thing is I don't think there was anything wrong with it in the first place.

Oh well still have the same problem and out $300.I

Don't feel bad as that alot of us go through the same thing. Not unusal to have mechanics replace 2 or 3 things before finding the real problem. It makes you mad though.

Hey.

Steering column can be bought for about $50 from a junkyard. Easy to R&R.

Is it wise to be driving now that you're having heart problems?

I talked with a Guy he told me it was easy and cheap to fix.I just wish I had him here to show me.

Ah driving not going to be setting around too much still not feeling well after the other day.But keeping Nitro,Asprin,and Phone numbers handy.Lots of good the Phone numbers are going to do,I have a Phone but my wife won't let me get minutes because she says it don't do no good because most the time we can't get signal around here.
