jonsered oil leak

anyone have any ideas on stopping an oil leak ? looks like it leaks out by the oiler when the saws not running ..... mink

That's pretty common. The weep holes that run from the oil resorvoir to the bar stay open all the time. If it's a while between run times some of the oil is going to leak out.

Propping the saw at a different angle to keep the oil back from the holes, or run the saw till most of the oil is gone before putting it away are about the only things you can do.

Sometimes you get pressure in the tank. Next time you use it when you are done open the oil tank cap and replace cap. This does work for a lot of folks.
