dryer repair help needed

Can any one tell me what kind of lubricant is used on the rear drum bearing in a clothes dryer?

Powdered graphite? Check with a car parts place for a hi-temperature grease.

While you have the back cover off of the dryer, you may consider cutting a small hole in the cover where the bearing is located. A small square of scrap sheet metal with a single screw to hold it in place.

Next time you need to lube the bearing, it will be much easier, and faster

It depends on the accessability of the bearing, if this is workable
