I think it is an off shoot of the handyman's club,
they say the same thing, you get a sticker and some small trinket, and they may send you some small item (on the handy man club I did hear of one person getting a utility knife to try), I jsut threw it away. I basically think they try to work on ones ego, it is possible that some one gets some thing nice, but I am sure the majority will spend more on the "club membership" that will ever get back in return.
we got involved with the company in the gardening club once, (NEVER AGAIN) they started to send books and things I never asked for. and either had to return them or pay for them.
apparently you need to watch billing closely, I know I had a heck of time with the billing, and since they have a prior relation ship with one, the can (according to them send you things with out your permission to check out, and then return, (if you open it it destroys the package and it has to be returned in the sent package),
