Air Hose repair!!

I needed to Fix the 50' air hose as it had blown apart right at the fitting. I cut the Cheap crimped tin off and the rubber. Used 2 1" hose clamps and A dab of oil on the fitting , Now its back together. I did NOT want to drive 15 miles for A barb coupler to fix it total time 20 minutes ,2 gallons of gas saved $5.32 . Not counting the fitting is $2.00 plus tax. Now I have the hose working Again. That one plus the New 25 foot my brother bought last month. I still need 100 more feet though. But not for A few weeks..
