Northern Tool...Quality of Bottle jack(s) ??

.................I've got to replace a ubolt on a 7000 pound axle so I purchased 12 ton bottle jack to lift the trailer with . Trailer (5th. wheel) weighs 15,000 or so it's fairly heavy . This particular jack is "6 times" faster than a regular bottle jack........which means it's "6 times" harder too pump the handle !!!
.................But my main question is for those that have previously purchased Lorin bottle jacks from NT and how have they held UP ?? thanks , fordy...

..................Funny you mentioning that ! I spent the last 3 hours under my 15,000 pound , 5th. wheel , and I used my shiny new 12 ton jack . The jack came with 3 , equal lengths of pipe for a total of about 20 inches . Normally they only come with one short handle , but this jack worked just fine and I was very pleasantly surprised at how easy it pumped . , fordy...

I hope you used a shiney 12 ton jackstand for safety.

I bet that ubolt was very expensive.

We use 50 ton jacks all the time from them. They last just as well as those costing from $800-$1200. Their lighter ones last as well as any. wc

My experience is that anything with northern's name on it is crap. Their tool boxes, power tools etc. are junk.
That said I buy a ton of stuff from Northern. As long as it is a known name brand and says nothern tool no where on it their stuff is OK.
