Freezer Question

1st its over 100 degrees out so the house is hot, The freexer reads at 20 Degrees F. but its leaking water into the refridgerator compartment. The milk is Not cold like it needs to be. Still cool but not cold. The refridgerator is 40 degrees. I Am thinking the extreme heat is the trouble. I turned the units colder but thats not doing much. Any thoughts???

Introduce some kind of air flow to lower the rooms temps. Make it easier for the freezer to work. Fill the freezer with such as 1 gallon water plastic bottles, once frozen they assist in keeping the temps lower.

Check to see if the fan is running in the freezer compartment. I think the evaporator coils are iced over.

If the coils are iced up as agmantoo mentioned you probably have a defrost problem. Either the timer (usually the problem) or the element.
