Ford 8000 hydraulics ??s

Where do you check the hydraulic fluid level on this model? The fill is above the draw bar but I can't find where to check the amount level.

I THINK its on the left side of the transmission. It should be a tapered pipe type plug that you remove and fill from the top until the oil runs out the hole on the side.

Ended up phoning the dealer, one is located to the left of the casting which the PTO goes through, the second one I have not yet found, its supposed to be on the left side of the trans, somewhere near under your left foot if your in the seat.

My 240 Int. has an obscure flat plug on the tranny top. If you do not know it is there one would overlook it-I did until I asked. wc
