Tractor not starting

We have a TC33DA. It worked ysterday when we put the Brush hog on it. and loaded it on the trailer. Today It wont start. Not a battery problem It is getting plenty of juice. Can't find any loose wires. Have it in neutral and the brake is on. What could it be?

DH is up there getting red in the face to go with his redneck. Plz help soon!

PS I told him how helpful everyone on this site is........Don't let me down.

No pressure or anything

If he is getting a good spark to the plugs then he probably isn't getting fuel. Check filter ,petcock ,lines

if I am looking correctly it is a diesel correct, At lest that is what the numbers come up with in my search, New Holland 30 some hp diesel tractor?

does it have fuel in the tank, if out there may be a procedure to re prime the injection pump to get it to run.

Is the fuel shut off, ON.
or
Is there a fuel shut off solenoid, (a device that shuts of the diesel via the key), is it working, (it is bummer when they don't work, at lest it is on my tractor),

Are the fuel filters tight, no air leaks.

clean fuel, in tank, no water, (filters not plugged), (water in an injection pump will usually mean a rebuild of the pump, at least in my experience).

Is the throttle lever moved to a slightly higher rpm setting. some times the low rpm set can get "unadjusted" and not get enough fuel to start, I have one tractor like that,

fuses,

circuit breakers,

how warm it is? above 35F degrees? my guess is that is not the problem, but I did not look to see where you are located.

if it will try to run on starting fluid then more than likely it is a fuel deliver problem, if it does not try to run on starting fluid, then my guess is your problem is greater then a fuel deliver problem,

Assuming the engine spins when you engage the starter, crack open the fuel lines at the injectors and establish that there is a minor fuel leak at each injector when the engine spins. About 1 to 1 1/2 turn open will be enough on the fuel lines nuts.

If there is no fuel present after about 10 revolutions, this is a positive indication of problems earlier in the system. If there is fuel present, check it for contamination, draw a bit out and let it set in a clear container to detect the presence of water, such will 'layer'.

Fuel filters (clogged) are a main cause for diesels to not start. Air filtration will be the next place to look. Non vented fuel caps also sneak in to the picture.
