All rafters go with the curved side upward, cut them so that happens. Now place your 2 foot framing square with the 9 inch mark on the 2 foot side at the exact edge of the rafter, (with the 90 degree spread to wards yourself), bring the 16 inch portion to its 1 inch mark, there will be a long sloping angle. Now, place the square to the penciled in line of the slope, at 90 degrees, the results should be the rafters upper cut.

For the birds mouth, match the cut's angle, to a depth of 1 and 1/2 inches deep into the rafter, cut one rafter and test fit it before cutting all the rest. Use one rafter as the template to mark all the others. Once your rafters are set, do a chalk line marking from the two most outside rafters, use a level to plumb mark where to trim to have a correct overhang, if that is your design.

All marks are taken from the outer side of the square's scale, the 270 degree area, not the ninety degree area.

This indicated to me your ridge pole is exactly 9 inches higher that your top plates, if this is not correct, this will not work correctly.
