A 1948 norge wringer washer?

Hey.

Because of it's age, you probably would have to buy another 1948 and combine the two. I see really old washers at thrift sales,flea markets,antique markets, and on ebay.

It still works but Im guessing it wont be long until it needs a motor.I wonder if any old wringer washer motor would work if you changed the motor mounts ?

Hey again.

Years ago I had a unique electrical motor rebuilt. A place in Chicago did it...new windings and they made it like new. They had the ability to rebuild any electric motor.

Maybe you can find an electric motor rebuild shop in a large city near you. Try doing a search on the web.

I think if you find a motor that has same voltage,amperage, and hp you might be able to adapt it. It sounds like too much work compared to getting the old one rebuilt.
