Does anyone know where we can get a proportioning valve for 79 GMC 1 ton?

My husbands baby has been sitting at the shop now for 3 weeks and his is getting more depressed by the day. He thought all it needed was a new brake line, but turns out the proportioning valve is leaking and they said that it is no longer made. They can't seem to locate one, so we are trying to. If anyone has any idea where we can get it we would appreciate it. Or any suggestions on what an alternative part could be. I believe it is just a simple t valve that distributes brake fluid evenly. Thanks for the input!

yes many race suppliers sell a valve made form billet aluminium. just do a search on google for Universal Proportioning Valve and youll find them. If a used oen is what you crave then contact my friend here http://www.scottsautosalvage.com/ or try Hearns Salvage Company Jasper, Alabama 205-387-7281 they will both ship it to you and are great people. ive known them all my life just about.
