2002 Polaris 500 HO Sportsman

Can't seperate snorkel shaft from the yoke on the main drive shaft. Lube, prybar have all failed.
Needs to remove transmission (It's stuck in reverse), but can't seperate.
DH purchased as a fixer upper and has the engine running great now, but is stuck on project because it won't come apart. He's been on ATV forums, but has received no responses, so I thought I'd post on HT, since on here all the time any.

Any suggestions!
Thanks Alot.
Susan

I'm good with most problems on ATVs, but I will direct you to the folks who know way more then me. www.highlifter.com has the best forum for ATV tech I have found.

Yeti,
Thanks! DH is logging onto the forum you recommended right now.
We're in Southern Michigan too, east side of state. (Big town of Maybee).
Thanks again for the suggestion.
