Angry H-E-L-P cj5 willys problem

I have a '58 cj with a brake problem (don't they all). It is perty much stock with the original lousy 9 inch brakes. I replaced a front cylinder a short time ago and now have to replace the other front. In ordered on from 4wd.com my replacement and received a 1" cylinder. My jeep had 3/4' cylinders all the way around. I'm caught in a hard place with the jeep up on stands and can't be used; so I shoot off an email saying I got a wrong part. The answer from them is I should have 1" on the front and 3/4" on the rear ??????? I gota get this back on the road. Anybody out there a brake expert? Should I order another 1" or try to find a 3/4"?

I am no jeep expert, but do know that different size wheel cylinders on the same axel is a friction problem that will cause brake pulling to the smaller size. Match whatever is on the other wheel. If the wheel cylinder is not pitted you have the option of honing it and installing a rebuild kit, both rubber cups inward, pressure cups outward, and a spring in the middle, lube with brake fluid while assembling.
