Anybody got a source of 6 volt hand lantern batteries?

That are rechargeable? Tired of seeing batteries for $6.00 while the packages of new lanterns is $4.00 with new batteries included, just think Home Depot is a ripoff about this.

6 volts

I used to buy the 2 packs at chinamart for 4.96. Nowdays I use a rechargeable LED for low light needs and a 1 million candlepower rechargeable for the heavy stuff. You have to use it wisely as only last a few minutes.

I have an adapter that lets you use 4 d cells in a 6 volt lantern. If yu had one of those you would be set. It's a plastic thing size of the lantern batt and you snap in the D cells. Came with a flashlight.
