not much longer till season opens

it sounded like they were in the woods almost a hundred yards away , but it was a still foggy morning and the sound carried well

hunter the coon hound in my avatar is gone , so no

I was out at a friends farm checking on some things early this morning the fighting was across the road and down a bit in a stand of mature trees surrounded by corn field on 3 sides , but i will have to catch them on my friends side of the road or see if they know that neighbor and i can ask permission to trap over there also.

Have the biggest one I've ever seen on our porch just about every night trying to find leftover cat food. Bugger doesn't even run when we sting him with the Red Ryder bb gun...just waddles away.

sting him with a CBee long in the ear , then he is all yours

I got a gift coon yesterday felt like it was 20 pounds it filled the bottom of a 18 gallon rubber made container , i pelted it and that thing will near fill a board ,but i have it in the freezer for now.

by the way a gift coon is one a farmer gave me , season isn't open yet here , but i loaned a farmer friend some box traps to get the coons out of the hay loft, but i can be gifted a coon by the land owner.

Coons do like the cat food. Years ago my daughter fed the cats on the back deck. One night we found 18 coon on the deck. My daughter thought the were "cute". Being strange as I am, I thought "I don't need a blue tick after all" Weird.
