Opening day
Yesterday was the firearms season opener in TN. It was a beautiful morning with a big frost, bright blue sky, and little wind. This grey faced mtn buck came sauntering along about 1.5 hrs after daylight. After field dressing, washing hands and knife in a spring, and attaching the drag line two doe came running around the mtn bench. I took the lead one and let the other walk already having a lot of work getting 2 deer off the mtn. It was such a glorious day on that mtn yesterday- the kills were just icing on the cake. God I love this time of year. And thanks to God for our wonderful natural world. TTT
