Jerky shooter!

I believe I found a good buy today. Spent the afternoon at yardsales and fleamarkets and found a Oster Jerky Shooter. Looks like it would hold about a quart of grund meat in it and has 3 different attachments for 3 different size of jerky. All for $3.00

From what I could find on the internet it seems to be part of a jerky kit that runs about $30 dollars. So I'm not sure just what the gun would be worth without the seasonings that come in the kit.

I'll have to try it out this coming week as I need to make some deer hunting snacks. My archery deer season starts a week from Monday and I still have a few packages of ground venison in the freezer. So I need to be ready.

I love the jerky guns, I started with one that was all plastic and a plastic tube. Upgraded this year to a metal one. The seasoning I use is about 9.00 a pack but I think it does about 20 pounds

I bought the original one years ago and put hundreds of pounds of venison through it since then. Had an annoying habit of a spring in the trigger mechanism coming un-done until I modified one end of it. Never a problem after that.
