Yesterday I went to an area I always Love to go because I always see Deer.Was coverd up with Turkeys,my wife don't like me shooting at Turkeys with Bow because of cost of Arrows,I tried for one yesterday and lost an Arrow so she was Mad.

This morning check on Computer which way the wind is out of? It said out of the West,well darn,not going to be able to go where I did yesterday.Go out to the Pickup,take Lighter out check Wind,out of the South.Alright.

Go back over where I sat up yesterday.Was having trouble finding the spot so I turned on my Little Clip on Light.Now in 59 years I have never Spotlighted for Deer,I catch Eyes shining at me from no more than 25 yards,cool it's a Deer,shine to my right,about same distance a Doe and Fawn.They didn't blow or nothing just went on.Thought this isn't good but I have no where else to set,maybe one will come from the other field.

Setting there,here comes bunch of Turkeys.I take this picture and Text my wife.They r messing with me

Well they caught me moving,went to the other side of the field.Little bit later,they come back my way.Get my Bow up,waited 20 yards,put the Pin on the Breast,shot,Flop,Flop.

I am doing something wrong.

I retired August 31st.

I was working for the Man yesterday (in the nation's 4th largest city, surrounded by millions of people) and you were out hunting.

Meanwhile, the pigs, turkey and deer are running wild on my place in Ozark county, laughing at me.

The things we do to keep our spouses (and ultimately, ourselves) happy.............

Good shot BR. I wished I lived in a area with a lot of turkeys. For some reason they just don't prosper around here where I live. Too many rednecks and -----s shootin them all the time I suppose!

I just wonder if I planted a nice food plot if they would start hanging around here? Or would I just be making it easier for the rednecks and -----s?

North end of Caney is 1 mile south of my place, as the crow flies.

Be sure to chase all the deer out of Caney and up to my place!!
