Opening Day Arkansas Archery Deer

It rained all day where I was at. My frogg togg top and Ghillie suit kept me dry. I had my game ear on and sat for four hours not seeing a thing. Had two separate birds land on me and a what I thought was a humming bird buzz my arrow . I bought me a game camera and I am going to set it up today. Anyone else hunt around or close to Blue Mountain in Arkansas?

Sounds like a Ghillie suit is working purty good for you so far! What you end up buying or making? How much did it run you.

I bought my daughter a pair of bluejean coveralls today. I'm gonna dye them all black and then tie dye them grey. Or vise versa. Not sure which way would be the best. But in the last couple of years I've discovered that black and grey seem to make better camoflage for woodland hunting.

I know this is an old thread but. I am originally from Magazine and grew up hunting in that area. I go back to hunt every chance I get.
