Anyone here bowhunt in MA?

I'm just getting back into hunting this year after taking the last 10 years off due to being in the military. I just bought a bow and I'm getting everything else ready but dont know much about the laws and dont know where I should hunt. I have a list of the public hunting lands but arent sure where to go. I'm hoping to find a hunting buddy who can school me on bowhunting here. The laws for anything hunting, fishing, firearm related are tricky so i want to play it safe.

P.S. Massachusetts gun laws suck

archery laws in MA are fairly simple and straightforward:

MassWildlife - Hunting with Archery

you can take any game with a bow (provided it's in season and you have obtained the proper permits when required).

what part of the state are you in? i don't hunt, but shoot bow for fun.
