What do you do if tempertures drop in the 50's and Boat Ramps are full with Last of Summer Weekenders?

You go Squirrel Hunting.I got two more after I took this pic.They are really cutting Hickory Nuts.

Do you fry them? Roast them up for pot pie? How do you fix them?

Squirrel and dumplings is good eating, but I always preferred them fried up.

They can be somewhat tough when fried if you don't watch the age/size of them.

Par boil them first, then brown , just like muskrat.....a little early here yet for squirrel.....usuallin Oct....
