Bbq turtle

Anybody ever bbq some turtle?? Got some in the freezer and would like to try that but don"t want to mess it up. Boned out 2 big ones, frys up good that way but am thinking slow cooker and sauce for the in bone pieces. Any ideas,?

Pan sear, crock pot, onions, add some apple juice for moisture and Head country BBQ sauce about 2 hours in. Call me a couple hours later.
