Badger, been fishing at.....

low water dam lately? I was there tuesday morning and took home about a dozen sandies. I thought I found you as I got to talking to a guy and I asked him where he was from. He said he was from a town close by. I asked him if he was badger and he said "yep". Come to find out he said he thought I asked him if he knew badger and that was what he was replying to. So it turned out to not be you. Then he told me he knew several badgers! I was starting to wonder about him!

Have you been down to low water lately. I'm gonna try to make time to go back Friday. Don't know if anything will be biting with this cold front and rain we're having. But I'm gonna try anyway. Will you be around anywhere?

I don't know why I don't call you and ask all this, I have your number on my cell phone!

I've been going down there almost every day. This is the time of year when I load up the freezer. Spoonbill have about run, the sandbass may have a couple of weeks left but the crappie have moved in the hole below the dam and I'm a happy camper. Spent today on yard and garden, you should have given me a call, I'd give you some good jigs we have been doing real well with.

aah, I didn't read your reply in time! I went back this morning and couldn't catch doodlely squat. A couple of mexican boys were fishing right beside me with long rods and casting way out there up next to the big rocks and were just slaying the sandbass. I couldn't get that far out there as I was only using a ultralight pole.

Been out there 3 times this week and have probably talked to you, but don't know it's badger. Still debating whether to go back tomorrow morning or not. I'm using up quit a bit of gas money just to bring home a couple of fish. Hey I'm driving a red jeep cherokee and I usually wear a work shirt that says Jackson Electric on it. Most usually Khaki/tan colored but sometime green. Or I should say "look for a fat halfbreed injun with lots of gray hair and a custer type goatee". Today I had shorts on and was wading out there about knee deep.

Badger, I'm purty sure I'll be swinging by low water tomorrow, I'll give you a call.

Big Dave, your welcome to join us. I personally can't guarantee you will catch anything. Badger might be able to help you out tho.
