Found a Hi-Point 9mm carbine for $250 obo..is that a little high? Or a good price considering they're kinda hard to find on the used market?

They used to go for about 250 new , then they put a new stock design on them now they sell for 300 or 350

offer them 200 cash have it in your hand see if you can find a compromise on 225 have 25 in another pocket , take it and go if you don't like it you can get your money back out of it easy enough

the one I have shot, it belonged to a friend, made very dead beer cans at 50 yards off hand , it had a cheap red dot mounted on it

i didn't care for the safety much but it shot fine

I guess it's a moot point anyway,I found one at the local gun store and can't get my bifocal lined up on the sights. So without putting a scope on it,I couldn't hit the side of a barn..from the inside.
