Farm Bureau-Cooking Bob Cat

I don't get down here much, but I just had to post this. Front Porch Magazine(you get it if you have farm Bureau insurance) has an article on eating Bob Cat. I just could not do it.

as per my post in the other section, almost all small cats (a zoological term that includes all cats that cannot roar like mt lions & snow leopards) have a taste & texture VERY similar to pork. it is very tender & delicious. IMO 100X better eating than whitetail deer.

Never did try to eat a bobcat, but did eat mt lion tenderloins and sausage from same cat. Sausage had pork mixed and was good as any. Tried the tenderloins three times, as a supper meal. EVERY time I did, I had really weird, far out dreams. No more of that kind of feline for me! Maybe it was just my cooking?

Dang, I didn't add any sauce or mushrooms! Just my usual reprotoire of cooking spices like salt, pepper and garlic. Mushrooms scare me, cuz I have no savvy of good and bad. Gonna havta increase my small knowledge base of things, sometime?
