Few on our leases do the fall gunhunt thing but we're too busy bow hunting for deer. Most of us do buy the $5 archery turkey tag as the little feathered possums tear up the foodplots and make a general nuisance of themselves. Im not much on eating them so the 2 either sex birds we're each allowed go to several folks who appreciate that fowl. They are sneaky and any movement spooks them. Good luck hope you guys get your limits.

Thanks! I do too. Not all the kids like to eat venison, they all love the turkey. Of course, I sneak venison to them occasionally without them knowing...but we would really like to get some turkey stocked up in the freezer.
