Thank you all!!!

I was just shooting them in the wrong spot.
This morning at 8:15 A.M. I filled my doe tag. The switch from the 'vitals' to the neck resulted in the deer falling over on the spot and never taking even one step. So Deer hunting is over for this year. I get a picture of it up in a bit.

Once again thank you all.

Congrats Stan,we always neck shoot em as well,if you shoot high enough towards the head you can still salvage the neck roasts too.

Congrats on a nice clean kill. You posted on your earlier thread that a small yearling deer would weigh 150 #. I can tell buy looking that this deer is young. Any idea on the weight?

No, This one was born in mid-summer. It's about 5 months.

The DW and I saw it a few times a week. In fact I have a picture of it around here standing in the driveway with spots. This is from August.
