I'd say more likely t'was those fine strapping lads who caught the fisher, and the father who is trying to take credit. 
Still a good looking critter those.
Our season is quite short here, usually a couple of weeks, and doesn't come in for a while yet., even then we are allowed but five fisher, or five pine marten, or some combination of five. I've yet to figure how they get their heads so high, but I catch a lot of fisher in snares set; these pint sized wolverines are a bugger to turn loose.
