finally found ammo

well 22lr anyway hit wally world today after trying farm and fleet with no luck

and finaly after a month of looking any time i was in a store for 22lr found some.

i know the manager at the walmart in the next town over i was talking to him sunday after church and he said he couldn't keep anything in that he had guys stopping in every day to see if he had a shippment in.

so was in Madison today and thought well i should check and finaly after a month of looking found fedral bulk packs and i was to the point were i was ready to settle for any thing they had in a brick.

i thought about grabbing all they had and selling them to freinds that have also been looking, but didn't have the money for that

Pete,
Been seeing more turning up in the wallys over here too. I was in the one in platteville teh other day. They had 4 boxs of Blazer copper 9 and 4 bulk boxes of winchester 9 sitting on the shelf. That was the most 9 mm shells I seen on the shelves in a long time. The blazer ammo was the same stuff I seen one guy at the gun show there in monroe have $20 on. Wally price is $8.87. Yes I did get a extra couple.
The dodgeville store seemed to always have some sort of bulk boxes of 22 on the shelf. I should as the wife to keep a eye open there on the shipment when she is unloading the truck at nights.

these were fedral 36gr copper plated hollow points value packs of 550 for 13and change

good to see it is getting better but farm and fleet today only had 2 boxes of 243 and 6 boxes 223 not a single other rifle cartrige to be had

wallyworld in monona had most rifle cartiges but not the 150 gr i use only the 170 and 180's

last time i saw a brick of anything was over a month ago i saw some REM thunderbolts , and i passed on them that same week i saw some blazer 22 plinkers but passed on them also , kind of glad i did i like the copper plated hollow points better , the may not be the gratest target ammo but i am not shooting leauge for a score either they are good dual purpose for small game hunting.

Madsaw , i was at the monroe show , ammo was definitly marked at a premium there did you see the couple selling leather goods and holsters all i ended up getting there was some of thier holsters and some army duffles can never seem to have to many sea bags with the back pack straps.
i see how it is you have the wife on the inside unloading the trucks so she can call you when the goods are in.

Yeap they had some good leather goods there. I wasn't thinking when I went there to take my P95 along and check a few holsters. But oh while. There will be more chances.
LOL, funny thing is though with her being a wally world girl. I have yet to buy ammo at the dodgeville store. She started out in the monroe store then transfered to dodgeville pharmacy. Now she is a CSM/receiving at nights.
I been thinking about putting a order in with wisconsin cartridge. I see they have some 7mmSAUM for 28 a box. I made a trade last yr and got a new rem 700 in 7mm SAUM. The ammo is not cheap for it. But then again thats where its nice to have friends that love to reload. They have more time then I do farming. So they have their fun and I get custom tailored loads for my gun. The 7saum will really have to impress me. I have a ruger 77 in 280 that is loaded up and is on the heals of the 7mag. 140 ballistic tips for deer and 115 TNT's for yote's.
