Texas White Bass Run Soon

The white bass and the hybrids and striped bass are getting ready to run. Hopefully the front that came through with some rain to the North of me dropped enough rain to flush the rivers. All we got was more MISERABLE WIND.

I know what you mean about the wind. I fished last Fri-Sun. I couldn't stay much past noon either day because of the wind. Thats on a small river. I couldn't imagine being on a lake.

The channel cats are full of eggs. They'll be prespawn gorging before long.

Yep, I can't wait for them. Here it's about the first couple weeks of April for a lake south of me. Then about the last two weeks of April at another lake/river just west of me. I hope it don't rain too much this year. Last year during the spring run time it was nothing but high waters everywhere. Don't want a repeat of that!
