Live Traps

Just bought some live traps for coon and was wondering if I should use Raccoon urine for a call sent or will that keep the coons away?
I plan on using marshmallows and peanut butter for the main bait.

Thanks

Bill

I found that the coons really really like honey on bread heels. Is also a nice last meal for them, ya know the sweet treat.

Cinnamon is a good scent, too.
Old honeybunns are good.
Jackmackeral, and also sardines.

You could throw a little coon lure in there with ur bait,it won't hurt anything and in colder weather it'll draw em in a little better than just bait.

Coon urine? I've never seen that for sale before only the canines or bobcat.

Urine is usually used to make an animal feel comfortable (safe) rather than call it to a set.

Read in a Fur-Fish&Game magazine that pouring pancake syrup over your bait helps draw them too.
