Our season starts Nov 1.
Most fur won't be ready till December.
Last year we had a season limit of 30.
I've done that in a night a few times.
This year, no limit!

Good buddy, if you were a member of
Virginia Trappers Association, you would
know several local buyers, and would
also have been invited to fur auctions
held by VTA. You would have also known
about the big convention in Lurray last
July where there were buyers and supply
dealers to meet. OR the mini-convention
this weekend in Bland. There are markets
around. And you can thank VTA for your
right to trap in Virginia.

JS Join The Fight

JS it might be a better idea if you made the contact yourself to the trappers of Virgina, even better become a member. They have fought the battles so you have the opprutunity to harvest fur in your state. Your benefits will far outwiegh the membership fees. Trapper

The closest one I know of is Pete Thacker # 276-565-4710 he lives just outside of appalachia. I sell a lot to John Coakley in Quicksburg (Trappers Haven). He is a supply dealer. There is also Johnny Hunley in Bassett (Southeastern Outdoor Supply). You can find their ph# on the net.
