SKS -disassembly and cleaning

Found a couple of good site with stuff for disassembly and cleaning of the sks.
(yeah, found a good deal, and bought one).

Following up on the last post.
While disassembling the bolt, (full of cosmoline), I didn't find a spring as showed by the video, and found the firing pin garffed up a bit where the holding pin is.

In doing some research, found a site that explains differences and reasons for the nicked up spot.

Newer Russian/ Yugoslavian models don't have a spring, and are subject to "slam fires and primer popping".

They offer a new pin w/spring and a tune-up (smoothing, cleaning up the bolt face for $47 bucks, installed.
