Ok One Of These Days I Will Learn

Had to drive 40 miles up to the lake. Was going to load my fishing stuff but figured with Cold Front just moving through they wouldn't be biting.

Well drive up there go by the Dam,their running water.Fish are biting anything hitting the water

Oh well this time of year never leave the house without your Rod and Reel.Did go out and eat a nice Supper.

Didn't try to go this weekend. Still depressed about last weekend.

Last weekend I loaded up the fishing gear and 2 of my daughters. Bought some gas, snacks, and drove out to the low water dam. Got there and they was running so much water that it was out of the river banks. Took off drove futher up north in hopes of finding a place to fish and just couldn't find a place the sandbass would be biting. End up buying us some dinner and more gas to get home on. By the time it was all over with I spent about 50 dollars on food and gas and came home with only 2 fish that I managed to catch. That comes out to $25 per fish.

Been to depressed to go fishing anymore since!

I could not make the fishing opener. Told some friends from the city I would call turkeys for them. One shot a nice tom, and the other guy still had a great time in the outdoors.

Believe me, I can spend a day with the daughters a whole lot cheaper and still have fun. Here lately they have been helping me put in a garden. They actually enjoy doing all the stooping over for me. They can't wait to see the plants come up and looking forward to eating tomatoes and cukes right off the vine.
