Hunter63, the gun gods were smiling on me too!
I went to the NWTF Banquet last night to do the firearms transfers for them, as a thank you gift they gave me several hundred dollars in raffle tickets.
And wouldn't you know I won the Weatherby Vanguard in .300 Weatherby Mag!
Maybe your luck rubbed off on the HT forum!

Hay, Hay, Hay, Congrats, now there is two of us than can be "hated", by the common hoards!(joke guys, gotta gloat a little).

I go to quite a few events (work the raffles in a lot of them) and have spent enough to buy probably most any kind of gun I want, but like I said in my first post, it's for good causes, and the odds are better than lottery tickets (which I don't buy).

So if you want to play, you pay, (or in your case thay made it worth your while donating your time).

Now the fun begins, choosing the scope, rings, sling, ammo, (and in my case loading dies, as I don't have theat cal. yet).
Then out to the range and do a little "bonding" with the new addition, also need to come up with a name................

As a past state chapter president of the NWTW..Thank you for your time and I am very glad you won a gun..having won several at many banquents is a good feeling to go home with a gun..I have spent more on tickets and and other items and could have bought the guns for less money..again thank you for your support....Wally
