Who is ready for Turkey season?

I am trying to get ready. My 15 year old daughter is wanting to kill a bird this year. She killed a nice buck last fall with a muzzlestuffer.
I was just out and saw a flock of five birds across the road grazing in our soybean field. I really wish they would start roosting near my feeder hanging on this side of the road. The deer and god only knows what else clean it up every night.
Hopefully they will find the feeder within the next few weeks. It has only been hanging about 2 months and it was right in the middle of my sugarbush. So it had a lot of daily human scent around it yet they still came during the night.. One of these days I will get myself a cheap trail camera and see what all I am feeding.

The wild turkey's here eat right under my bird feeders. We taught our dogs not to bark at them & so the turkeys hang around & around most of the day. Seen a nice Tom already this spring & young jakes but no hen's with them yet. I like to see the babies!

Been practising my calling all winter. Last year I called in coyotes but no turkey.
Just a few more days and our season is open.
