Ticks!

Had to go in the woods for a bit yesterday and pulled two of the miserable little bloodsuckers off me last night.
I hate Ticks, and it's a little early for them to be out here in TN.

Dust your pantlegs w/sulfur. Keeps off the ticks AND the chiggers.

Here in Massachusetts, i found a deer tick on my dog during a warm spell at the end of January.

I have had many deer ticks attached to myself and my dog & cats and just decided to do a tick check on all of us every day when the outdoor temp is above 45 degrees.

Hate them.

I lost my dog to anaplasmosis last summer. It was the second time he had been infected. He'd also had Lymes twice. I hate deer ticks.

One spring my other dog had a deer tick on March 1st. There were only tiny spots of bare ground but that was enough.

I'm hoping ticks won't be as much of a plague as it was last year during a dry hot spring, but will know soon enough around mid April after the snow is well melting away from the bush. As for 'bloodsuckers', we have those in the ponds in the form of leeches which can get pretty bad in the lowlands putting in canoe on the beaver creeks and such. Ah well, it's the northland, what one expects.
