Where can I find Texas laws on deer leases?
I want to know what laws there are on leasing your land for hunting? I don't EVEN know where to start.

I've been to that site can't find any info about owner leasing land.

I'd start with the county clerks office... they usually can send you wher you need to go.

if its your land you can draw your own lease if they sighn it its a contract

Just wondering if there is any special regulations as to min size of land etc. I hear so many "well what I always heard is..." I just want to know the facts. County Clerks office? Maybe I'll track down the wildlife depts phone # if I can't find it by then. And do you have to guarantee a deer to them? I mean how do leases work? Do they usually agree to only so many people contracted a year? Only certain days a week? I am clueless on this. Seriuosly, if someone said I'll offer you this many bales of hay for me to come hunt this fall. I'd be like come on! but I know you have to have contracts and obey the laws and such.
