Question Wingbone Turkey Calls (yelpers)

Do you any of you all make turkey calls using wing bones? Well,I do and I have a question.
I was digging around in the refrigerator and found a bag of bones I had saved...a few months ago! They fell down under some bottles and I forgot all about them. They're really gross looking(in a rancid sorta way) but I hate to waste them. If I soak them in bleach,do you think I can still make calls out of them?? Would soaking them in bleach for too long make the bones brittle?

Also, here's a link to wingbone call instructions in case anyone wants it....

I would try soaking them in water with about 10% bleach for a couple of hours.
And then allowing them to dry in the sun for a couple of days.

Repeat if neccessary.

OR--------------
Follow the advice on the link you provided.

Boil in water with a little dish soap
and then
"Another way to get the bones an even white color is to immerse them in hydrogen peroxide after boiling them. Rinse throughly with water and let dry. 40% peroxide can be gotten at a hairdressers beauty salon. Soak the bones over night in the peroxide."
