Best Fishing/Vacation Spot

Hey everyone,

I am looking for a good fishing/vacation spot to visit this year, sometime around June or July.
Anyone know of any good spots that they recommend?

On Lake Hamilton near Hot Springs, Arkansas. Try to find a cabin near the lake & go catch some bass & brim.

Where you located at? How much traveling do you want to do and how much money do you want to spend?

I usually don't travel more then 50 miles to fishing hole and just camp out in a tent. Camp fee usually cost me $8 bucks a night. That's my vacation!

On the absolute low end of the vacation scale! But you might think of yourself a little more upscale then me.

Leech Lake in Minnesota. It's in Cass County, and the County seat is Walker. VERY large lake (about 111,000 acres). Many resorts on all different parts of the lake and local bays. You can catch everything from panfish to walleyes, notherns and musky. It is my fav spot of all time to go.

If your going to try Minnesota I would recommend the boundry waters for a dream vacation. Especially if your into the primitive types of camping. Its scenic, clean, with plenty of great fishing in natural pristine waters. Its been years since I was there but its still the best vacation I ever had. Trapper
