got a call from oldest son this morning

my oldest son called this morning from MTU in the UP of michigan
he was out pruning apple trees were he deer hunts at[natural feed]
had a black bear run him up the tree he was working on
he sez he didnt think he could climb a tree with snow shoes on
guess there was enuf incentive to
I didnt think they whould be out all ready[was 36 degrees there yesterday]
he must have been the bears breeding area or somthing[BIG MALE]

Wow! That sounds exciting.
Wonder how fast I could climb a tree.

That really isnt the wisest thing to do, they can climb trees faster than we can.
