Indiana Furs?

Does anyone in Indiana know someone who buys or sells furs? I am looking for a skunk or fox or coon hide, must include tail. does not have to be tanned, just dried. I'm after the tail.

You should be able to find a coon tail along the road just about any morning for free.

Go on ebay I see alot of fox, coyote, coon etc tails on there.. Skunks not too often but heck be patient you should be able to find some on the side of the road.. However check and make sure its legal to pick up road kill in your state. Herein Calif I cant even touch road kill..even if its in season.. Kinda sucks since Ive seen some pretty dang nice critters just laying there that would be a real nice mount..

yes, except for deer and endangered species it is legal here. for deer you have to get a signed ok from the sheriff. I picked up a squashed prarie falcon once. we tore off the good wing and kept it for our school science collection.

Try Hoosier trapper

Hoosier trapper in, well just east of, Greenwood, IN. They have all kinds of tanned hides for sale. They also have several of their mounts on display, very impressive.

I'll look them up in the phone book. At this time, the only thing I am after is a skunk tail. thanks.
