Have seen this before locally. Feel sorry for the bear.

But then I guess I never be a bear hunter, saw one at a local butcher, big sow, skinned out.
Supposed to have been shot by a local "big shot" with a bow, but had 7-8 bullet holes in the back.
Looked like a fat old lady hanging there.

I name" Brother bear" as my totem, and will not hunt him, only defend myself if necessary.

I feel sorry for the bear too, but I'm not sure why it couldn't have been tranquilized untill the combine could be moved? Or was the bear injured?

't ould jist be another pest.A digging a hole in my cornfield and endangering me and my machinery,..live-lihood. when bears go to denning in the middle of cornfields, there is to many bears. ..:-)

With the amount of damage bears do in corn, I can't afford to feel sorry for a bear. Any chance we get to kill one is taken.
