Savage .17 :)

Tonight I went down and bought a Savage .17 HMR camoed out, blued barrel, with an accutrigger.. IM just thrilled as can be with it
Sun we are going to go look for a 10/22..
Anyone here shoot the .17 if so what ammo do you use? I dont want to blow it to pieces, so need something that wont damage the fur..

Still working on that part. I bought the gun to get better at shooting. My brother can do .5" at 50 yards but mine is a little larger. Just got done glass bedding it about 3 hrs ago. Can't wait to see if it has helped.

How many rounds thru to date?
Is that the factory barrel?
Might need to shoot it awhile to "work in the rifling", if it's an after market.

Factory barrels are tested at the factory, don't know about the after market barrels, should inprove.
Most guns shoot better than I do anyway, but you may need to keep at it.
Good luck.
